FX recently signed a script development deal with musician and record producer Dr. Dre for a new one-hour drama to premiere on the network.
Deadline reports that the Sidney Quashie-penned series explores present-day Los Angeles through the eyes of the music business -- as well as the crime business.
Quashie and Dre will produce, with Daniel Schnider and Brad Bertner executive producing.
