The PlayStation Vita launch game Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational happens to be one of the best-selling Vita titles, especially in Japan where it regularly outpaced all other Vita games on the charts for a while after its release. But according to a report on Andriasang, World Invitational – known as Hot Shots Golf 6 in Japan – is no longer a PlayStation Vita exclusive.
Andriasang draws details from a Famitsu report concerning the game being ported to PlayStation 3. It will support crossplay and even the PlayStation Move, as well as downloadable content once only intended for the Vita version of the game.
It will be released in Japan on November 22nd. We’ve reached out to Sony to see if the game will launch in the west – and if so, when – and we’ll update when we hear back.
