Every day hundreds of new apps make their debut on the App Store, and hundreds more are updated or reduced in price. We have sifted through the noise and highlighted those select few that might be worth your attention.
Magic Orbz – ($1.99)
Originally known as “Magic Ball” when it debuted on PS3 a few years ago, the renamed “Magic Orbz” is a 3D Breakout clone that’s worth a look for fans of ball-bouncing, brick-busting destruction:
Mini Dash – ($0.99)
Chillingo usually holds on to new releases until Thursday updates, but this week we’re getting their latest two days early. Mini Dash is a touch-directed platformer with a lot of polish:
Lili – ($0.99)
One of the App Store’s most high-profile releases in recent memory, Lili is the gorgeous, quirky flower-picking adventure that you might have skipped back when it launched at $4.99. For just 99 cents, though, there shouldn’t be anything stopping you from checking it out now.
Haggis – ($2.99)
IQ Foundry’s Scottish card game has had a couple of bucks knocked off its asking price today.
Doodle Devil – (Free)
And, of course, we’ve got a couple of free downloads for you as well. First up is Doodle Devil, which tasks you with opposing the Doodle God and trying to destroy the Doodle World.
Cats Away – (Free)
And then we have Cats Away, which lets you abduct innocent felines using a flying saucer.
That’s it for today! If you haven't already, subscribe to the App Store Update via email. For convenience!
