Back in August, Nintendo revealed that Nintendo Power will be ceasing publication in December. While it seemed far away at the time, four months have passed and Nintendo Power’s final issue is now being prepared for shipment.
Though the issue hasn’t hit subscribers quite yet, user 5thape has posted an early look on reddit, revealing that the cover is a nostalgic throwback to Nintendo Power’s original magazine.
For comparison’s sake, here’s the cover Nintendo Power debuted with back in 1988:
The final issue is expected to hit subscribers next month, and IGN wishes the best of luck to Nintendo Power’s employees as they move on to their next endeavor.
