Gemma Arterton Will Do Absolutely Anything

Clash of the Titans actress Gemma Arterton is now confirmed for the long-awaited Monty Python comedy project Absolutely Anything. Sherlock's Benedict Cumberbatch is also currently in negotiations to join the film, TheWrap reports.

Terry Jones is attached to direct the picture, with Monty Python vets Jones, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin and John Cleese set for voiceover roles -- as is Robin Williams.

The story revolves around a teacher who is endowed by aliens with magical powers to do "absolutely anything." Of course, the Earthling quickly makes a mess of things, and he must learn to take control of what he does in order to set things right again.

Production is slated for the first quarter of 2013. Jones will direct from a script he co-wrote with Gavin Scott.

Arterton will next be seen in the action-adventure fantasy film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, starring opposite Jeremy Renner.
