Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot have just hired Julius Onah to direct God Particle, the J.J. Abrams-produced sci-fi project that's been garnering a lot of buzz over the last few months.
Variety describes the film, which centers on "an American space station crew left abandoned after a problem with a Hadron accelerator causes Earth to vanish entirely." Oren Uziel penned the screenplay.
The project is being developed at Paramount InSurge, which means the budget will land somewhere in the neighborhood of between $5 and $10 million.
