In an interview promoting The Hobbit, Sir Ian McKellen revealed that his X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer was impressed with the 48 frames-per-second technology and 3D used for The Hobbit ... and then hinted perhaps the X-Men sequel might even employ those formats.
