Alan Ball, the man behind HBO's Six Feet Under and True Blood, is back in early 2013 with a brand new series. Debuting on Cinemax, Banshee tells the story of ex-con and master thief Lucas Hood (Anthony Starr), who manages to assume the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, PA. While now living the life of a lawman, Hood is still continuing his criminal activities, while also being hunted by the gangsters he betrayed years before.
