Disney has hired Guardians of the Galaxy co-writer Nicole Perlman to script a new project called Terra Incognita.
Variety has the report, adding that very little is known about the proposed film aside from the fact that it is based on an original pitch. Justin Springer (Tron: Legacy) will produce.
Perlman is a graduate of Disney's writer's program. In addition to Marvel's Guardians, she also wrote the unproduced Challenger, First Man and Capture the Flag, all of which are apparently "space themed." She's also overseeing Disney's adaptation of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, based on the ride.
