There's been a changing of the guard on scoring duties for The Lone Ranger.
Rocker Jack White has reportedly dropped out of the Disney project and will be replaced by Hans Zimmer, the Oscar-winning composer who also scored Lone Ranger producer Jerry Bruckheimer's Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Zimmer also scored The Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel, and Gladiator.
White's departure has been chalked up to scheduling conflicts.
