Nintendo of Europe Restricts Wii U eShop Content During the Day

In a move that can only be described as strange, it looks like Nintendo of Europe is blocking access to content that is age-rated 18 and up during certain times of the day. Specifically, Wii U owners are unable to purchase these games in the eShop - or even watch trailers or access information for them.

As reported by Eurogamer, a Nintendo representative has stated that, “We have thus decided to restrict the access to content which is unsuitable to minors (PEGI) to the 11pm - 3am time window.”

It's a good thing kids never stay up late… oh wait. That’s not true at all.

Want to buy ZombiU in Europe? All you have to do is access the eShop between 11pm and 3am!

What do you think of this strange new restriction on certain eShop content? Is it for your own good, or just weird and inconvenient? Let us know all about it in the comments!
