Skyfall Biggest Film of All Time at UK Box Office

It's happened already!

Skyfall has broken the UK box office record in just 40 days, surpassing the record previously set by James Cameron's Avatar.

That's even more impressing when you find out that Sam Mendes's 23rd Bond movie has taken its whopping £94,277,612 haul in just under six weeks at British cinemas, while Avatar had a lifetime gross £94,025,632 after 11 months on general release.

In response to breaking the record, long-time producers of the series Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said, "We’re overwhelmed with gratitude to the cinema-going audiences in the UK who have made Skyfall the highest grossing film of all time. We are very proud of this film and thank everybody, especially Daniel Craig and Sam Mendes, who have contributed to its success.”

If you still haven't seen the film, you're probably in the minority (and what's wrong with you)? Here's the review to whet your appetite:
