From Pong to the NES: CES History in Photos

In preparation for next week's Consumer Electronics Show (CES), The Verge has posted a photo essay that documents the show's 35 year history, which included the public debut of Pong, NES, and original Xbox. It starts with the very first CES in 1967 — then held in New York and featured only 14 exhibitors — and journeys all the way to 2012, which saw over 3,200 exhibitors and attracted 156,000 visitors.
