Joseph Gordon-Levitt has signed on to Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. He'll play Johnny, the role originally offered to Johnny Depp.
This item comes from Deadline, which is also reporting that JGL will not be a part of Marvel's cosmic Guardians of the Galaxy after all, despite recent rumors to that effect.
The Sin City sequel has already started shooting for an October 4, 2013 release, though the casting apparently will continue even past Gordon-Levitt's addition: Josh Brolin is reportedly up for a part as well.
