Skyfall Receives 8 BAFTA Nominations

The BAFTA nominations are out, and Skyfall has received 8 nominations, including Best British film and individual nods for Javier Bardem and Dame Judi Dench.

But leading the list of nominations is historical epic Lincoln, with ten nominations. The cast has been heavily recognised, with nominations for Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field and Tommy Lee Jones, but director Steven Spielberg hasn't been overlooked by the judges.

Les Miserables and Ang Lee's Life of Pi have both scored big, receiving 9 nods apiece.
