Texas Chainsaw 3D Debut Tops the Weekend Box Office

After three weeks of sitting atop the domestic box office, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey's reign has come to an end. New release Texas Chainsaw 3D outdid industry expectations to debut as the No. 1 movie in North America, while Django Unchained enjoyed a strong second place finish.

Here are the weekend estimates via Rentrak:
