To celebrate the upcoming release of SimCity, we've teamed up with the crew at EA Games Australia to hold a SimCity Challenge Event at Customs House in Sydney tomorrow, 27th of February from 8AM.
Six teams of two, a Mayor & Deputy Mayor, have been selected from around Australia to compete to win the ‘Ultimate City Experience,' where they will fight to build the biggest SimCity population. The competition will be held in a custom-built glass box and will be hosted by EA and IGN.
Every hour, on the hour, we will ask all the competitors to leave the glass box for 10 minutes and take part in a 'Build-A-Bridge' challenge out of Megabloks. The best 'bridge' will win extra population to add to their end total. For more infomation, check out EA's Facebook page.
EA has prizes to give away and TV personalities to meet, so come down and cheer on the teams as they compete for the Major Prize, or join the conversation on Twitter by following @IGN_AU and @EA_Australia, using the hashtag #SimCityAU.
