Today, Bad Piggies developer Rovio released the first update for the physics puzzler since October, and only the second update since the game launched. To make up for the lack of new levels, Rovio packed today's patch with much more new content than usual.
First up, players have 30 brand-new 'Flight in the Night' stages to puzzle their way through. To succeed, gamers have to sneakily pass by sets of sleeping angry birds without waking them up.
The update also adds six new leaderboard-centric Road Hog stages. At their core, these levels are just like other Bad Piggies stages - assemble your vehicle and get it to the finish line as quickly as possible. But these time trial challenges pit you against your friends as well as the clock, with leaderboards tracking who manages to complete the stages the fastest.
Finally, gamers that master the new Flight in the Night stages will unlock a new open-ended sandbox stage to truly test their creativity and ingenuity.
For any gamers stuck on the new content, fear not. IGN is hard at work on three-star video guides for all the new levels. Look for it on IGN.com and IGNGameplay on Youtube soon.
