Nintendo has announced that the teeny-tiny stripped-down Wii Mini console will be released in the UK on March 22nd.
The console is significantly smaller and cheaper than the Wii, but it only supports composite output, lacks online or backwards-compatibility functionality, and has only one USB port. IGN Netherlands actually spotted the Wii Mini listed on the Dutch Nintendo site a few days ago, at which point it was swiftly removed.
The Wii Mini was previously released in Canada on December 7th. We've reached out to Nintendo to ask whether it will be out in Japan, America or the rest of Europe.
