Well this is a pretty familiar scenario - another iteration of the 3DS XL has been announced, this time as a limited edition in support of the launch of Shin Megami Tensei 4 in May. Of course, this variant only applies to Japan. By our count, Japan now has approximately 500 different colors and editions of the 3DS, Europe has a half dozen, and North America has... 3.
No big deal, Nintendo. It's not like we're keeping track.
