While Spartacus is coming to an end next month, Starz will waste no time launching another ambitious new series with Da Vinci's Demons. The brainchild of David Goyer (co-writer of The Dark Knight trilogy), Da Vinci's Demons takes a look at a young Leonardo Da Vinci (Tom Riley), and the bold and dangerous adventures he embarks on, as he invents devices the likes of which mankind has never seen.
Taking on a crucial role in the series is Lara Pulver, who made quite an impact last year via her acclaimed performance as Irene Adler in Sherlock. Pulver plays Clarice Orsini, wife of the de facto ruler of Florence, Lorenzo Medici (Elliot Cowan).
