The IGN readers strike again! This time, a reader has sent along to us a screen grab from a GameStop computer showing the purported release date of the PlayStation 3-exclusive JRPG Tales of Xillia. The date? July 2nd, 2013.
As multiple readers have informed us, “SD” next to a date in GameStop’s database typically indicates “Street Date,” which could confirm the date fairly solidly. However, the Tales of Xillia date lacks the “SD” next to it. However, July 2nd is a Tuesday -- the traditional game release date in the States -- so it seems unlikely to be some sort of random date.
This comes on the heels of our story yesterday, which indicates the release dates of four Vita games, including the much-anticipated Dragon’s Crown.
