Journey Sequel Unlikely

Despite overwhelming success at tonight's BAFTA Game Awards, one of the creators of Journey has stated that a sequel to the game is unlikely.

The game's executive producer Robin Hunicke told IGN that, due to thatgamecompany splintering following the completion of the high-acclaimed title, no one was particularly keen to see a follow-up.

"I think we all put a lot of heart and soul into Journey, so we'd like to leave it where it is," she explained. "It's pretty much perfect the way it is, we don't want to mess with that so I would imagine there would be no Journey 2."

This isn't too surprising considering the current state of thatgamecompany; the company's co-founder Jenova Chen recently reflected on the fact that the studio was no longer exclusively tied to Sony and how many of it's employees had now moved on to unannounced projects.
