Liam Neeson in Talks for Seth MacFarlane's Western

Liam Neeson is currently in talks to saddle up for Seth McFarlane's next feature, A Million Ways to Die in the West.

The Blazing Saddles-style Western comedy follows sheepish farmer Albert (MacFarlane) who attempts to win back the love of his life by learning how to shoot from an outlaw's wife (Charlize Theron). However, the farmer soon falls for the woman, and complications ensue when the outlaw returns to reclaim her.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Neeson would play Theron's husband.

Meanwhile Deadline says that Giovanni Ribisi, who recently played the creeptacular bear-napper in Ted, is expected to re-team with MacFarlane on A Million Ways to Die. The actor would play Edward, "a simple shoe repairman who bears up with a girlfriend who won't have sex with him, but as a working prostitute she's doing it with everybody else. He tried to get his buddy Albert back into the dating scene."

The production is on track for a May start date.
