Skyrim Mod Turns Snowy Lands Into a Tropical Paradise

Tired of the frozen winds and snow capped mountains of Skyrim? Well, you're in a luck. A new mod for the game turns howling gales into balmy breezes and converts all of Tamriel into a tropical paradise.

Created by a modder named Soolie, the Tropical Climate mod does away with the frozen tundra that the game currently takes place in, replacing it with palm trees, jungles, beaches, volcanoes and clear green waters.

He doesn't stop with the landscape though; the fauna of Tamriel is also changed by the mod. So if you're fed up of bog-standard bears, install the mod to stumble across pandas instead, along with jungle spiders instead of frostbite spiders, seals rather than horkers, raptors rather than wolves, tigers as opposed to sabre cats, and apes replacing trolls.

Buildings and the weather have also been changed, and hide armour are also made of leopard fur. You can check out the results in the video below, with just one word of caution; the mod is pretty draining on your PC, but there are ways to negate this if you're bored of the winter and don't want to wait a couple more months to soar off to sunnier climes.
