After his appearance in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 last year, it seems Snoop Dogg has gotten a taste for video games. His newly announced venture into the digital realm is the Echo Peak-developed Way of the Dogg, a rhythm/fighting game for Xbox Live, PS3, and mobile platforms.
“Snoop Dogg is a true one-off and from our first creative discussions two years ago the idea of creating an original game concept around his music and love of ‘70s Kung Fu and Blaxploitation movies was a mouth-watering prospect,” says Ciaran Walsh, director at Echo Peak.
Way of the Dogg is a rhythm fighter plays to the beat of a Snoop Dogg-penned soundtrack. It’s set to drop April 23rd, alongside Reincarnated, the film about Snoop Dogg’s transformation into Snoop Lion.
