While Geoff Johns has rebuilt Aquaman from the ground up over the course of the last year and a half, he'll be taking a much-deserved break (probably to go write a million other things) next month, as DC revealed to IGN today that Aquaman #20 would be guest-written by comic book legend John Ostrander.
The issue will feature art by Manuel Garcia and Sandra Hope, with a new cover (below) by Paul Pelletier and Sean Parsons. The story introduces a new member of The Others as Aquaman enlists the team to help him find a relic in the Southwest before the bad guys do.
Ostrander previously wrote Aquaman for a few issues during the course of the character's 2003 series, and is best known for his work on Suicide Squad, during which he reinvigorated the then paralyzed Barbara Gordon as Oracle .
Aquaman #20 hits on May 22.
