A gamer has uploaded a two-minute video of himself playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset.
Chris Gallizzi’s footage, showing his point of view in the fantasy RPG, was sent in to Kotaku. Using the Rift, he shows off movement, combat, and horse riding in-game.
In addition to allowing the player to control the character by turning his head, the headset also combines the two images to produce a 3D image before the player’s eyes.
According to YouTube comments, Gallizzi is currently also looking at porting the Fallout series to the Oculus Rift.
