Warner Bros. Shows Off Man of Steel, The Hobbit, Pacific Rim and More at CinemaCon

Warner Bros. touted their summer 2013 slate at Tuesday's CinemaCon, while also giving theater execs and the press a look at what lies beyond the blockbuster season.

Zack Snyder presented the new trailer for Man of Steel, which you can drop your jaw watching below, and Todd Phillips presented the trailer for The Hangover Part III.

Guillermo del Toro appeared to present the same convention-only trailer for his sci-fi epic Pacific Rim that he recently showed to fans at WonderCon. They also screened trailers for the upcoming comedy We're the Millers (starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis), horror film The Conjuring (starring Vera Farmiga and directed by Saw's James Wan), and thriller Getaway (with Ethan Hawke and Selena Gomez).

Director Baz Luhrmann sent a pre-recorded intro before showing an extended trailer for The Great Gatsby in 3D. Director Noam Murro also sent a pre-recorded greeting to show off a work-in-progress version of the trailer for 300: Rise of an Empire, which shows how much the sequel will remain visually similar to the original film from its stylized fights to its painterly palette. There's also a whole lot of wild and crazy sex between the hero (Sullivan Stapleton) and the villainess (Eva Green).

The studio also presented attendees with the first look at the trailer for Alfonso Cuaron's 3D "Cast Away in space" drama Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as astronauts imperiled when their space station is hit by an asteroid. Guests were also shown a rough cut of early footage from Prisoners, the upcoming drama starring Hugh Jackman as the father of a missing girl whose quest to find her puts him in conflict with the detective (Jake Gyllenhaal) assigned to the case. Both movies looked emotionally intense, with Gravity showing the desperation of being trapped in a life or death situation without anyone to help you and Prisoners showing the desperation of a man driven to extremes for the people he loves.

Finally, director Peter Jackson sent a pre-recorded greeting from the New Zealand offices of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Not much was shown from the second installment in the Hobbit trilogy save for a few quick shots of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Gandalf (Ian McKellen), Tauriel (Evangeline Lily), Legolas (Orlando Bloom) and Bard the Bowman (Luke Evans), as well as a peek at the set of Laketown.

The Hobbit segment was shown in 2D and with no mention of 48 frames-per-second, which is a far cry from the studio's panel at last year's CinemaCon where their touting of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in 48 fps and 3D backfired big time.
