Earlier this month, Anchor Bay Entertainment announced The Walking Dead: The Complete Third Season on Blu-ray and DVD. Now, IGN has new info on the home video release, including an overview of products and exclusives available at major retailers.
As we already know, the standard 5-disc collection includes all 16 episodes from the past season and comes packed with tons of bonus features: exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, featurettes, audio commentaries from cast and crew and deleted scenes. We also learned that the Season 3 Blu-ray will be available in a Limited Edition Zombie Head Tank package specially made by McFarlane Toys.
Additionally, Target will sell a 5-disc Steelbook Blu-ray Only set for $79.99; Best Buy will sell an 8-disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack for $89.99; and Walmart will sell a Blu-ray ($79.99) or DVD (69.98) with soundtrack, featuring artists Lisa Marie Presley, Band of Skulls, Willy Mason and others. All sets will include the special features listed above. Here's the lineup:
