Spielberg and Day-Lewis May Reunite for Thank You For Your Service

Lincoln director Steven Spielberg and his Oscar-winning star Daniel Day-Lewis may reunite for Thank You For Your Service.

The project is based on Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post reporter David Finkel's upcoming book of the same name, which is about soldiers dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder following their wartime experiences in Iraq and Afghainstan.

Deadline says actor-turned-screenwriter Jason Hall is being lined up to adapt the book for Spielberg and DreamWorks. Hall also adapted American Sniper, the memoir of the late Chris Kyle that's set to be Spielberg and star Bradley Cooper's next film.

The site says only that Thank You For Your Service is only a "potential reteam" for Spielberg and Day-Lewis so the notoriously choosy actor could still change his mind.
