Infinity Blade: Dungeons is Officially Canceled

When Epic Games announced the closure of Infinity Blade: Dungeons developer Impossible Games, things did not look good for the action-RPG. Epic stated that the game had been put "on hold" while the company figured out "what to do" with the product.

Given the positive early reception the game had received from IGN and other game critics, many held out hope that the game would resurface. Maybe even at the hands of Infinity Blade 1 and 2 developer Chair itself. But on the most recent episode of the official Epic Games podcast, Chair Co-Founder and Creative Director Donald Mustard officially confirmed that the game is dead.

"When the studio that was working on [Dungeons] was closed, the game was canceled. That's really all I can say," Mustard said.

Infinity Blade fans still have plenty to look forward to, though.

"There's more we at Chair are totally planning to do in the Infinity Blade universe," Mustard continued. "More Games, more books, maybe even other products. And we are very excited about that."
