Apple's next iPhone is expected to receive a notable increase in processing power, according to Fox News Anchor Clayton Morris (via Gizmodo). Sources recently told Morris that the A7 processor that will be found in (what will very likely be) the iPhone 5S is about 31 percent faster than the A6 chip, which is currently found in the iPhone 5.
Sources are telling me the new iPhone's A7 chip is running at about 31% faster than A6. I’m hearing it’s very fast.

Although a bump in processing speed is expected with each new iteration of a smartphone, the iPhone 5 was no slouch to begin with, so this type of increase, if present in real world use, would be impressive. Other rumored improvements to come with the next iPhone include a bigger battery, dual-LED flash, and a larger display.
Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 5S as early as next month, alongside a long-rumored, low-cost iPhone 5C variant.
