Don Bradman Cricket 14 Announced for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC

A day after England successfully retained the Ashes, and a new cricket game has been announced. Don Bradman Cricket 14 is due to be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC later this year, and is being made by Big Ant Studios, the Australian developer behind the Rugby League Live games.

"It is indeed an honour to be able to bring the greatest player to a technology savvy generation of fans in what promises to be the greatest cricket game of all time," said Sebastian Giompaolo, the MD of HES. “Big Ant Studios have been working hard on this title for four years and we at HES are really excited with what they have been able to achieve. It is far superior to any cricket game in the market.”

The game is being made using an official licence granted by the Bradman Foundation. (And if you don't know, Sir Donald Bradman was one of the sport's all-time great batsman with a test batting average of 99.94.) The game boasts a full career mode, allowing you to rise from young cricket starlet to test match hero, dynamic weather conditions, and even the ability to appeal decisions.
