WWE Studios and Lionsgate announced today that See No Evil 2 -- the sequel to 2006's horror release See No Evil -- will go into production this fall, with WWE wrestler Glenn "Kane" Jacobs reprising his role as the reclusive madman Jacob Goodnight.
The Soska Sisters, Jen and Sylvia (American Mary), are set to direct the picture from a script by co-writers Nathan Brookes and Bobby Lee Darby. The story picks up after the first film, as Jacob Goodnight rises from the dead in the city morgue after his killing spree at the Blackwell hotel. In this underground locker for the dead, a group of medical students fight to survive as the deranged psychopath once again starts to pick them apart, one by one.
See No Evil 2 is the fourth collaboration between Lionsgate and WWE, following the first See No Evil, The Condemned, and the upcoming reboot of the Leprechaun series.
