Nathan Fillion as Batman? Doubtful

You've gotta hand it to Nathan Fillion's loyal fans, they've been petitioning the guy for damn near every superhero movie this side of the 'verse -- Green Lantern, Star-Lord, Ant-Man -- albeit to no avail (save for Captain Hammer and The Holy Avenger, of course). Now, fans can probably add Batman to that list as well.

Speaking to the actor about Warner Bros.' upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie, EW.com recently asked Fillion if he thinks he could play DC's coveted Caped Crusader. "I wonder if my throat could take it," he joked, referencing Christian Bale's gravely voice for Bats in The Dark Knight trilogy. "I think I'd make an excellent Bruce Wayne; I think I'd make a terrible Batman."

However, Fillion cautioned, "If you wanted to see a particular person as Batman, I think one of the worst things you could do is shove it down someone's throat as far as the new director of Batman or the new producers of Batman. Probably the worst thing you could do if there's someone you want to be Batman is sort of rally."

So, in other words, shut up, you guys!
