The Gamescom press briefings were merely the starter of what is promising to be an epic show in Cologne this year. The media will get their hands on all the games today, before the main course is served as the cavernous Koelnmesse opens its doors to an estimated 300,000 punters from around the world until Sunday, giving the general public their first proper glimpse of next-gen in action.
It's not just about next-gen however, with tons of forthcoming current gen, PC and handheld titles from every major developer under the sun on show too. The question now stands though - which game do you think deserves to be named winner of IGN's People's Choice Award 2013?
