TGS: NIS Bringing 2 PlayStation Exclusives West in 2013

NIS has announced that Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection will be released in the West. Victory will hit PlayStation 3 in Spring 2013 in North America and Europe, and Pandora’s Reflection will be downloadable from PlayStation Network for PSP in February 2013 in both territories.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory is the third installment in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series of RPGs, following Hyperdimension Neptunia in February 2011 and Mk-II earlier this year. Victory once again stars main character Neptune and takes place in a 1980s version of Gamindustri. The game will refine Hyperdimension Neptunia's battle system, making it more fast-paced and allowing players to move freely during combat. Scouts can be sent to explore information on dungeons, and players can use a flag system to activate events when Scouts return. Players will also be able to obtain blank discs that they can use with certain combinations to create a Godly Game to equip.

Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection is a strategy RPG that features an active-time battle system, letting players position units on the battlefield in real-time. The story follows Claude and his younger sister Yuri, a girl whose life is being drained by a disease. The pair travel through the land of Hades to find a cure for Yuri, encountering “struggles, suffering, betrayal, forgiveness and romance.” Players will gain Alchemy Points to level up their weapons and characters, and engage in battlefield combat that allows them to “deploy troops, exploit terrain, occupy key locations, set up ranged weaponry, destroy enemy bases, and even summon massive, screen-rattling creatures.”

More information on both games is available on the official Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory site and the official Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection site. Specific release dates and pricing still haven’t been revealed, but keep checking back for updates as they’re announced.
