Mirror’s Edge Coming to PlayStation Network

Few consoles games this generation have the underground, core support that DICE’s Mirror’s Edge does. While not a commercial smash hit, it’s a critical darling and a game folks have been clamoring for a sequel for since its release some four years ago.

While I don’t bring news of said sequel, I can tell you that Mirror’s Edge will be released on the PlayStation Network in North America this Tuesday, September 25th. Its price point, as well as its availability in other territories, remains unknown.

Could this be EA and DICE testing the waters, as it were, for a sequel? Or are they just getting some legacy content out there for folks to enjoy? As of this past summer, EA is still considering Mirror’s Edge 2, and DICE itself has reported that it thinks the fledgling franchise is “too good to kill”. So keep your fingers crossed!
