Kristen Wiig is currently being eyed for a part in Paramount's upcoming comedy Achorman: The Legend Continues.
According to The Wrap, Wiig would play opposite Steve Carell as a love interest to his character Brick Tamland. But sources note that the script is still being written, and no cast members beyond the principals -- Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, David Koechner and Carell -- have been set.
Adam McKay is returning to helm the picture, with Judd Apatow producing. Anchorman 2 is aiming for an October 2013 release.
