We'll take anything that gets the Australian cricket team out of India.

Melbourne-based studio Trickstar Games previously developed International Cricket 2010.

Cricket games have been few and far between this generation but Trickstar will be facing competition this year from fellow Melbourne, Australia studio Big Ant (developer of the Rugby League Live series). Big Ant is also developing a cricket title. The release date for Big Ant's game has not been announced, but the question was posed on the studio's forums.

"The competition is hot," wrote Big Ant boss Ross Symons. "We will see who hits the street first."

Ashes Cricket 2013 is due to release from June 21, ahead of the unique double-header 2013/2013-14 Ashes series commencing July 10.
