Jason West Leaves Respawn

Jason West has left Respawn Entertainment. Originally reported by Kotaku (and since confirmed by IGN sources), West reportedly departed the studio due to family issues and has been gone since last year.

West’s departure is not expected to impact development of Respawn’s first project, which co-founder Vince Zampella teased last week for a reveal at this year’s E3.

West and Zampella originally co-founded Call of Duty studio Infinity Ward before departing and forming Respawn in 2010. The pair settled their lawsuit with Activision over Modern Warfare royalties last year.

IGN has reached out to Respawn for comment and will update this story with any additional info we receive.
