ShootMania has seen rampant growth since its open beta began and its inclusion on Steam and we are happy to announce yet another milestone event for this amazing game! IGN and IPL are partnering with Ubisoft and Nadeo to throw a massive ShootMania launch party and tournament! On April 6th and 7th at the Cobb Theater in San Francisco, we will be hosting the $100,000 ShootMania Elite tournament that teams have been qualifying for and fans have been excited to take part in! The event will run from 10 a.m. Saturday until 10 p.m., and will resume at 10 a.m. Sunday morning until the tournament concludes.
ShootMania officially launches on Wednesday, April 10th, and we're going to celebrate! The event will feature two full days of the live $100,000 Elite tournament with casters AskJoshy, GoldenboyFTW, and SycknesS, a meet and greet with the IGN editors and the host of the Daily Fix and Cheap, Cool, Crazy: Naomi Kyle. Of course, since this is a party, there will also be free food and an open bar (as supplies last) for all of our attendees.
The first 600 people to confirm their attendance will receive VIP access, which gets them to the front of any lines and premium seating throughout the event. The qualifiers for this event have spanned the last two months, and the teams playing in the Launch Week Tournament will be SK Gaming, Curse Gaming, 4Kings, PyroGEN, Spin Move, Team DM, Colwn, Fnatic, MonoManiac eSports, RiYM, RoughNeX, Buykey, vVv, Lady Killaz, and two teams still to be determined by our final NA qualifier and our live qualifier at PAX East on March 22nd-24th!
