Alba, Kilmer, Sheen Join Ferrell's Spoils of Babylon

A few weeks ago it was announced that Tobey Maguire and Kristen Wiig had signed on for The Spoils of Babylon, Will Ferrell's upcoming miniseries on IFC. Now, another round of stars have joined the cast: Jessica Alba, Val Kilmer, Charlie Sheen, Haley Joel Osment and Tim Robbins.

The Spoils of Babylon is a century-spanning saga, which "chronicles the sexy and dramatic lives of the Morehouse family, led by Jonas Morehouse (Robbins), his daughter Cynthia (Wiig) and her adopted brother Devon (Maguire), who made their fortune in the oil business. The series takes viewers from the oil fields of Texas to boardrooms in New York City, through war torn battlefields and velvet-sheeted bedrooms."

According to the release, Alba will play Devon's new love interest Dixie Mellonworth. Osment will portray Cynthia's evil son Winston, alongside Sheen as Cynthia's put-upon husband Chet Halner. Meanwhile, Kilmer will assume the role of a U.S. Army General.

Six half-hour episodes of the miniseries will premiere on IFC in early 2014.
