New set photos from the Spidey sequel reveal that one character from the original 2012 movie will be back ... even though they're dead.
ComicBookMovie.com posted spy pics from the sequel's set showing Denis Leary's George Stacy garbed in his bloodied police uniform. You will recall he died battling the Lizard during the first movie's climax.
Fan speculation suggests the return of Captain Stacy is part of a hallucination or dream Peter Parker or Gwen Stacy might have. We shall see.
