First Trailer For Frank Darabont's New TNT Series Mob City

TNT has unveiled the first trailer for Frank Darabont's new series, now titled Mob City. Originally known as LA Noir, then Lost Angeles, the six-episode series will debut on Dec. 4 at 10 PM.

Based on  John Buntin's book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America's Most Seductive City, the series takes place in the corrupt underbelly of 1940s Los Angeles.

Darabont, the first showrunner on The Walking Dead, cast The Walking Dead's Jeffrey DeMunn as LAPD head Detective Hal Morrison and The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal as Detective Joe Teague. The pair join with Neal McDonough's LAPD Chief William Parker to set up a task force whose mandate is to purge the city of criminals such as Ben "Bugsy" Siegel (Ed Burns) and Mickey Cohen (Jeremy Luke).
