Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney for 3DS has been confirmed for a North American release. The long-awaited translation is set to arrive in 2014.
A crossover jointly developed by Level-5 and Capcom (and published by Level-5), Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney combines elements of both series, mixing the puzzles of the former with the trials of the latter. Announced way back in October 2010, the game was released in Japan on November 29, 2012.
In July 2011 Level-5 International America canvassed fan opinion on 10 Japan-only titles, asking fans to vote for their favourite via a poll on the company's Facebook page. Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney led the results.
