Injustice: Gods Among Us Scorpion DLC Announced

Warner Bros. has announced that Mortal Kombat's Scorpion will be joining the roster of Injustice: Gods Among Us as a DLC character.

Currently slated for release on Xbox 360 and PS3 for 400 MS Points / £3.99 at some point in the future, the Wii U version isn't mentioned by today's announcement. We're assuming it'll arrive on Nintendo's console later this summer, as is the case with the rest of the game's DLC, but have reached out to Warner Bros. for clarification.

Seeing as Mortal Kombat dev NetherRealm is responsible for creating Injustice, it sort of makes sense that the character has jumped from one series to the other. What's quite exciting though is the fact that DC legend Jim Lee has redesigned Scorpion specifically for the game.

You can check out Lee and Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon discuss the new Scorpion in the video below, as well as witness the first gameplay of the resurrected ninja in action.
